A. Battery life is limited to this type of product due to the small size, we do sell a car kit which you can use to attach to a larger battery for longer life.

A. The unit comes with a magnetic cover. It cannot be switched on and off remotely as if it is switched off it will not be able to receive commands to switch on. There is a car kit available so you can hard wire to the cars power supply.
